Laptop screen coming off
For most laptops over 5 years old, it’s almost impossible to find decent quality parts. If your laptop’s bottom or top case are cracked, the repair will be much more expensive, requiring replacing those parts. Usually, all that’s needed is some epoxy glue to keep the metal hinges firmly attached to the plastic body. If your laptop hinges start to feel loose but not yet broken, you are lucky.
What if it’s all too late and your hinge is already broken? Usually, they can be fixed, but that depends on the laptop model and parts availability. It seems to turn off on its own and comes back up after a while. More expensive cases have padding for added protection if the laptop ends up on the floor. The screen shuts off randomly, if i move the mouse or type it will return before. Even a cheap silicon one will prevent it from slipping out of your hands.
